Etro's 2024 Spring/Summer men's collection draws inspiration from ancient prophecies and imagery. The designer happened upon a 17th-century masterpiece, "Iconologia" by Cesare Ripa, during a visit to an old bookstore in Messina, which depicted allegorical images of vice, virtue, and qualities. This book became the wellspring of inspiration for his 2024 Spring/Summer collection. The elements from the book come alive through relaxed tailored suits, fuzzy vests, football shirts paired with button-up shirts, and thick blanket-like outerwear. On the black runway, these elements boldly shine, greeted by the intense yellow hues of a sunset. When the light falls on the garments, one can better appreciate the intricate details adorned with embellishments, prints, or jacquard fabrics inspired by allegorical totems.

De Vincenzo’s Etro takes to Milan Fashion Week to present its Fall/Winter 2023 collection. The Italian label finds a new direction saturated in ‘70s codes, and it happens to be the perfect vision for a brand shake-up. Merino wool made up numerous opening looks, with jumpers and cardigans shaping a relaxed, casual identity for the House. Those garments incorporated muted palettes and geometric shapes, leather buttons and soft details — shoulders curved naturally, hems fell below the waist, and everything screamed “comfort.”

For Fall/Winter 22/23 collection, the creative director Kean Etro starts an adventure for young people through saturated colors and loose cuts. The free and romantic dressing in this season exudes an easy and free spirit. Signature paisleys are combined with wolves, thorns and roses to show the growth from teenagers to adults.
