Milgrom was born in a passionate Moroccan coastal town and grew up in the romantic city of Paris, which has inspired Maje's design style of adding vivid colors and religious elements on top of romantic and soft beauty. Maje is a popular French light luxury brand in recent years. In 2016, Shandong Ruyi Group acquired Maje from the French SMCP Group, hoping to promote Maje's development in the Asian market. However, due to Shandong Ruyi's debt issues, Maje's operating rights have returned to the French SMCP Group.
