Tech Knit -- The Analysis of CFCL The Womenswear Designer Brand
CFCL is a new fashion brand founded by the Japanese designer Yusuke Takahashi on February 18, 2020, and it's first collection Vol.1 was released in S/S 2021. The former menswear designer of ISSEY MIYAKE, Yusuke Takahashi, launched his own brand with the ending of ISSEY MIYAKE MEN. CFCL represents contemporary daily clothing, and its products are mainly produced by 3D developed textiles. These textiles apply certified sustainable polyester yarns and latest techniques to provide practicality and functionality. Designer also maintains the iconic neutral color tone of ISSEY MIYAKE. A/W 21/22 collection Vol.2 aims at exploring the connection of hi-tech and knit and challenging elegant items of both genders. Deeply inspired by architectural structures, fine rippled line craft fully presents the curved design language. The combination with gentle hue and colorful geometric inlaid injects minimalism. Umbrella dress hem echoes the perfect rippled lines.
