Fantasy Garden -- The Womenswear Runway Analysis of LOEWE
LOEWE Creative Director Jonathan Anderson takes an outsider's perspective to gain insight into the true meaning, inspired by the "Fantasy Garden" and using Albert York's small and intense paintings as the background. Through LOEWE's unique lens, the metaphor of class and wealth is presented in a straightforward and abstract way. LOEWE has crafted unique details with exquisite craftsmanship this season - small round beads like caviar are showcased on ready-made clothes; A ring or long skirt with a mosaic pattern of a beloved dog; The collar of a coat carved from wood; Misconception patterns embellish clothing, handbags, and shoes.

Practical and Playful -- The Women's Runway Analysis of LOEWE
Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of LOEWE's 2024 Spring/Summer Women's Wear Collection, adopts the design concept of "embracing randomness" and takes us into a chaotic and possible mental state through experiments, hallucinations, and sidekicks. In this process, daily clothing has undergone a subversive interpretation, presenting a bold, bizarre, and interesting side. The sparkling brooches that make up the top, the playful and vibrant star brooches, and oversized pins all showcase the creativity and ingenuity of designers. These unique elements infuse fashion with depth and texture, making it strange and interesting, like an extraordinary adventure to explore fashion elements.

Less is More -- The Analysis of LOEWE The Luxury Womenswear Brand
A large part of the LOEWE 2324 autumn/winter collection is centered around gender-neutral and seemingly basic pieces, but upon closer observation, subtle and intentionally rendered folds and drapes can be found. The effect is akin to clothing that people love and wear day after day, naturally creased and pressed in just the right places. This is a form of excellent, clever, and bestselling fashion. The design inspiration comes from everyday activities, but is reimagined in a fresh and romantic way.

Deception & Mystique -- The Womenswear Runway Analysis of LOEWE
Set inside the walls of a chateau, Anderson and LOEWE created their now-signature stark space and adorned it with Lara Favaretto-designed confetti squares, decorating the space in a vibrant splash of color. Trompe-l’œil came to fore right off the bat. Feathers, glittering coats, jumpers manipulated to keep an unkempt shape, trousers as booties, and a whole host of leather subsequently rounded out yet another standout show from Anderson.

The Touch of Autumn -- The Analysis of LOEWE The Luxury Menswear Brand
“Weave, Restore, Renew”. LOEWE marks its sixth appearance at Salone del Mobile Milan with TIMEWEAVES which celebrates woven craft, ancient techniques and the inventive ways in which craftspeople breathe new life into found objects or surplus materials. Young Soon Lee, a LOEWE Craft Prize Finalist in 2019, has collaborated with LOEWE on a series of bucket bags inspired by the Korean technique jitseung in which strips of hanji, a handmade paper, are corded and woven.

Hysterical -- The Womenswear Runway Analysis of LOEWE
The latest collection of LOEWE was staged at the equestrian training arena of La Garde Républicaine, a historic location in the centre of Paris. Inspired by The Deposition from the Cross, painted by the Italian Mannerist artist Jacopo Pontormo in Florence 1528, the designer Jonathan Anderson said,"Neurotic, psychedelic, and completely hysterical." of his S/S 2022 collection. He tried to break the rules of LOEWE and explored the concept of draping, sculpture and color by distortion to create a new LOEWE.

Virtual Feast -- The Womenswear Catwalk Analysis of LOEWE
The lookbook of Loewe A/W 2021 womenswear collection centered around the photographer Fumiko Imano's characterization of supermodel Freja Beha Erichsen. Emotional, charming and colorful, it is an extreme visual feast of colors and silhouettes. Instead, rather than the popular medium of digital presentation, LOEWE and Jonathan Anderson have opted to showcase their new collection via printed matter: a newspaper supplement with attached article, released globally in a selection of different broadsheet publications. Geometric concept plays a big role in the whole silhouette and surface process. Commuting suit and nightgown are the core items. Curves and straight lines are interlaced to show the solid yet flowing feel. While quilting, printing, applique and jacquard further improve the comprehensive charm and catch eyeballs.

Classicism and Art -- The Catwalk Analysis of Loewe Womenswear
Silhouette and fabric are key elements to create the A/W 2020 series for Jonathan Anderson, the creative director of the Spanish brand Loewe. "I analyze Spanish culture and how the world looks at it", Jonathan Anderson explains backstage after the show, "I work on how to bring classic images of Spain into people's wardrobes and I really enjoy the process of building silhouettes of clothes. Last season I worked on silhouette and fabric very successfully, so this season I decide to continue this design idea." This collection is filled with a large number of simplified prints with traditional Spanish ceramic patterns as the main part. The partial silhouette of the design is based on the retro court looks. Loewe also works with ceramic artists to create lots of ceramic decorations for the ready-to-wear of this show. These are all in line with Jonathan Anderson's understanding of Spain.
