Pioneering Functionality | Experimental and Avant-garde -- Stone Island
Special research, trials and functions are features of Stone Island founded by Massimo Osti in 1982. It is the pioneer to combine fabrics with textile techniques and innovative designs. The study to uniforms and workwear provides a guiding frame better than the functional aesthetic. For A/W 19/20, Stone Island's theme is Space Journey inspired by the moon images, illuminating and metallic surfaces. Fabric, color, craft details and stitch are employed. Orange, neon green, carmine, air blue, ink blue and white are in line with the theme.
