From June 13th to 16th, the 104th edition of Pitti Uomo, the Florence Men's Fashion Exhibition, took place at the Fortezza da Basso exhibition center! A total of 825 men's fashion and lifestyle brands participated in this edition of Pitti Uomo, surpassing the previous 789 brands, with 43% of the brands coming from countries other than Italy. The theme of this year's exhibition was "Pitti Games", referring to a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere that is full of challenges and creativity, synonymous with energy, commitment, and the desire for success. The Pitti Immagine organizing committee imagined the Florence exhibition center as a "big gambling table" where people can enjoy themselves and experience the thrill of taking risks.

A huge shout out to all who helped make the recent Kingpins Show in Amsterdam a success. The denim fair welcomed more than 1100 visitors representing more than 500 companies from more than 40 countries to SugarCity (which has been renamed SugarFactory), where nearly 100 exhibitors showcased their latest collections. This season, the fair debuted Kingpins’ new inspiration concept, The Boxes, where we challenged visitors to explore new ways to be creative.

In view of the easing of pandemic restriction policies in China, the Spring Editions of Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, Yarn Expo and Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles have been moved to the new timeslot of 28 – 30 March 2023. A series of seminars, forums and panel discussions were held concurrently to further promote industry development.

The 103rd edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo ended in Florence (10-13 January 2023) with almost 800 men's fashion, lifestyle and genderless collections at the Fortezza da Basso, an increasingly evolved exhibition layout and new sections like PITTIPETS and The SIGN. Plus the special events in other venues around the city: from the Martine Rose catwalk show at the Loggia del Porcellino to the Jan-Jan Van Essche show in the Santa Maria Novella Complex, together with all the other scheduled presentations and events that met with great approval from the press, buyers and guests who traveled specially to Florence.

The recent Kingpins Show 2024 was held in SugarCity Events in Amsterdam, displaying trends of denim fabrics, accessories and packages in S/S 2024. More than 1200 guests and more than 600 companies from nearly 40 countries joined the exhibition.

The 102nd edition of Pitti Uomo taook place in Fortezza da Basso from June 14, 2022 to June 17, displaying Spring/Summer 2023 collections. This historic menswear trade fair has returned to the right track. Compared with the edition in last June(338 exhibitors) and this January(540 exhibitors), the latest edition was an exhibition of 671 brands, including 100 new comers.

‘Digital Nomads’ is the fourth trend story of S/S 2023 Shanghai SPINEXPO. In the post-pandemic era, people are fusing technical resources with virtual experience to evolve study planning and working method. Digital Nomads uses saturated bright colors to present bold color contrasts.

For 3 days, 2 times a year, at Paris-Nord Villepinte, the six major industries supplying materials and services to the global fashion industry (including : Yarns, Fabrics , Leather , Designs , Accessories, Manufacturing) come together in Paris.

Founded in 1972, the world-leading fashion event Pitti Uomo is not only a menswear show, but it is also a more all-around clothing exhibition and trade show. Other fashion weeks may pay more attention to the runway, however, Pitti Uomo focuses on the exhibition and trading of new-emerged brands. Meanwhile, Pitti Uomo can also be regarded as the best interpretation of global fashion trend for menswear. From June 30 to July 2, Pitti Uomo successfully held its 100th exhibition in Florence. Except for those famous menswear brands and latest products all over world, there were multiple special events as well. According to the official data, over 6000 people attended the exhibition, including 4000 buyers(30% of them came from foreign countries). The exhibition was mainly based on three topics: "Fantastic Classic"(contemporary classic menswear), "Dynamic Attitude"(outdoor wear, sportwear and streetwear), and "Superstyling"(niche avant-garde design). Thus, the exhibition has attracted people from all the industries and with different fashion preferences.

The world is changing, and the second exhibition of Playtime Shanghai will present an image of the children's universe, that takes on today's social challenges in order to protect the freedom to be openly and courageously unique. It is the incarnation of a world of solidarity in its diversity, of a "wild" state of childhood where creativity and spontaneity, individualism and simple pleasures of the senses are combined. It is a joyful disorder, in which each one finds a place, the happy wasteland of a future whose complexity is not put in doubt, but where the collective, the freedom and the sensuality celebrate new utopias.

Kingpins held its second online exhibition on the interaction platform, which included guest lecture, trend presentation, and product & project introduction. The innovation of denim industry make recyclable design become the highlight of online exhibition. The close opportunity inside the denim industry stimulates the sustainable development and recycling production.

Different from the past offline exhibition form, the 88th Pitti Filati is presented on the digital platform Pitti Connect to display the S/S 2022 collection because of the epidemic. Influenced by the transition of consumers' life habit and consumption concept, the development of yarn and knit cloth pays more attention to the safety, comfort and versatility. Environmental protection and sustainable development concepts keep influencing the yarn development. Anti-bacterial and anti-microbial yarn needs creation and extension. Natural fibers like cotton and linen are the key to summer, and the application of fancy yarn is also important.

The Playtime E-show this year was held online during February 10 to February 12. Based on the sustainable environmental design concept, this Playtime show demonstrated every environmental fashion brands through the recommendations of magazine, blogger and fashionista. And diverse eco-friendly design styles were presented by streaming.

The 20th Children-Baby-Maternity Expo (CBEM) was unveiled on 10 October, 2020 in National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in China. In addition to child, baby and maternity products and services, this time CBEM also opens a Chinese Fashion Hall to promote Chinese culture via clothes. A series of sweet, retro or sustainable designs also gains much attention. Muted colors deliver a fresh feeling. Besides, various IP collaboration enriches styles.

The A/W 21/22 Kingpins Amsterdam is held online digitally. The most obvious message from the Kingpins show is that suppliers will keep providing sustainable fabrics for the denim industry. A/W 21/22 will focus on ecological fibers, fabrics and eco-friendly dye techniques that work for core collections in the mass market. The 90th Pitti Immagine Bimbo is held in Florence on January 16th to 18th, 2020. For 45 years, it has been the global fashion center for kidswear. During the three-day period, shows of KidzFizz and Apartment, kids' labs and forum all display and enrich Pitti Bimbo. The theme of "Speak for The Earth" runs through the fair. On the catwalk, streets turn into frescoes full of kids' demands for green, inclusiveness and a livable space. Kids hold up slogans such as "OUR PLANET, OUR FUTURE", "THERE IS NO PLANET B", walk through the streets and begin to express themselves.

Pitti Filati is the largest fair of melange yarns in the world. This fair emphasizes sustainability is the first priority. Recyclable waste, natural bast fiber and light thin materials for summer are main development directions. More than 4,000 buyers from more than 50 countries are exploring the sustainable production of yarn and share the visual feast of knitting.

The 97th Pitti Uomo menswear exhibition was held on 7th to 10th, January. It is the most important fair in menswear industry, and chooses flag as the theme, which symbolizing "Open" and "Internationalism". The 97th Pitti Uomo attracts 265 brands, including Brioni which returns back to Florence after many years. It celebrates the brand's 75th anniversary with a special installation designed by Olivier Saillard.

The A/W 20/21 Premiere Vision Paris just ends. As the top exhibition of materials and accessories, it needs to adapt to changeable situations and pressure of the fashion industry. The focuses of A/W 20/21 are sustainability and technology. This exhibition attracts more than 2000 exhibitors. Fabrics take the largest proportion. Endless new fabrics are dazzling and attract many visitors.
