Unknown Wilderness - MSGM Men's Runway Analysis
The MSGM 2024 Spring/Summer men's collection draws inspiration from the designer's enlightening "Sogno Off Road" journey in Tanzania. This collection cleverly depicts an enchanting picture of an unexplored territory on the canvas of high fashion, seamlessly blending dreams with reality and witnessing the endless wonders of nature. The designer incorporates the beauty of sunrises and skies from the journey into the garments, skillfully combining textured fabrics with modern tailoring. Black tailored suits complement exquisite zebra and cow prints, transforming ordinary cotton into a luxurious canvas showcasing African wildlife. Models wander on the runway with handheld flashlights, as if traversing dark tunnels and heading towards dawn.

The Possibility Of An Island -- The Menswear Runway Analysis of MSGM
"MSGM boys are good natured boys, with not a soupçon of dark side. Or at least, they keep it well hidden under the cheerful, über-positive designs concocted by Massimo Giorgetti, an equally sunny-side-up kind of guy. " Designer said that reading Michel Houellebecq’s dystopian and rather cynical novel The Possibility Of An Island made him think about the tension between the natural and the virtual, humanity and technology. To amplify his message, the location he choose for the show was a brand new glass and cement building located in an up-and-coming industrial area of Milan.

Il Rumore del Tempo -- The Menswear Runway Analysis of MSGM
MSGM was joined by Gaetano Pesce, the renowned architect and furniture and industrial designer, this season to release its Fall 2022 menswear collection. Giorgetti was struck by Pesce's vivid visuals, which resonate with MSGM's saturated palette, and by one of Pesce's many quotes and aphorisms. "It's about Il Rumore del Tempo (The Noise of Time)," he explained at a press appointment in MSGM's new headquarters. Giorgetti's MSGM repertoire is still largely shaped by his energetic yet gentle interpretation of streetwear. Significant elements of Pesce's aesthetic were transposed into the collection. The felted quilting of his soft-shaped armchair and trompe l'oeil prints were the inspirations.

A Free Holiday -- The Catwalk Analysis of MSGM Menswear
MSGM S/S 2021 collection takes cues from Fluo: Storie di Giovani a Riccione by the Italian writer Isabella Santacroce, which tells a story of young people spending their summer days on sunny beaches and meeting again with their friends. Beside, designers also use paintings by Seth Armstrong and visual plants, reinforce the brand's aesthetics via bright color-blocking and express the new fashion attitude through layered match of varied items.

The Collision of Classics and Modernity -- The Catwalk Analysis of MSGM Womenswear
Massimo Giorgetti, the artistic director of MSGM, who is constantly looking for cultural inspiration from the past, is an unruly fun-goer. This theme is inspired by Gio Ponti's interior design of Milan architectures in the 1970s and the modernistic ceramic floor tiles. The concept of the collision and integration of classics and modernity is used to present the vivid and interesting design aesthetics. The classic bright color matching and bowknot of WSGM are used. The neat and clean silhouette replaces ruffle, with lively colors to be fresh and lovely. Various interior elements are used as patterns this time. The geometrics on the floor tiles are applied to the shirt, and classical rose pattern is used to the outerwear. Environmental protection is also advocated this time, like eco-friendly leather and faux woolskin, reflecting the designer's attention to the environmental protection.

The show invites the director to take charge of the scene and music, presenting a conceptual series reaching the edge of people's horror.
