The GUCCI 24/25 autumn/winter men's collection, with creative director Sabato De Sarno echoing Gucci Ancora's declaration since September last year: redefining the brand's fashion style and aesthetics. Abandoning the glamorous and dramatic design style of the previous designer Alessandro Michele, Sabato continues its hope of reproducing classic Italian style, rewriting important elements with carefree elegance. The theme word Ancora represents a renewed emphasis on the design aesthetics that De Sarno brings to GUCCI, which are "more authentic, current, and practical". The new series depicts a contemporary style with exquisite yet slightly subversive techniques, emphasizing the craftsmanship behind GUCCI's iconic elements while introducing new silhouettes.

As technology moves the world ever closer and the lines begin to blur, hybridisation shone through as the overarching theme of the recently unveiled Gucci Cruise 2024 collection in South Korea. To emphasise this theme of blending cultures and genres, the iconic House set its show against the illuminated 14th century backdrop of Seoul’s Gyeongbokgung Palace to deepen the ties it has had with the city since 1998.The collaboration with Korean artist RamHan, who introduced surreal patterns, is a highlight of this season. The collection combines the urbanistic style of the 90s with the current trends, creating a fresh and exciting new spark.

For Gucci's Cosmogonie Fashion Show, creative director Alessandro Michele transported the fashion set to Castel del Monte where he presented a sparkling collection of 101 looks exploring the idea of past and present. Rooted in writer Hannah Arendt’s devoted essay on her friend and philosopher Walter Benjamin, Gucci’s Cosmogonie considers the past and how it is reflected in the present. Michele’s collection enveloped both romanticised mediaeval monikers with multi-layered pearls, starched ruffs, and heavy velvets, as well as modern fashion history – demonstrated in crimped hair and oversized sunglasses of the 80s.
