Western Exploration -- Louis Vuitton Men's Runway Analysis
The Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 24/25 Men's Collection show was held at Jardin d'Acclimatation Park in Paris. As the creative director's third collection, Pharrell Williams focused on American Western culture for the first time in this season. In order to avoid cultural appropriation, Pharrell Williams collaborated with artists from the Dakota and Lakota tribes, involving them in accessory design. The background music also came from Native Americans. The clothing designs incorporated Western cowboy elements, such as cowboy boots, cowboy hats, and decorations inspired by Western culture's plants and wilderness scenes, giving the overall style a strong Western flavor.

The Menswear Runway Analysis of Louis Vuitton
Love and light are key elements throughout the entire Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2024 Collection, with the sun as the focal point of the design. The sun is seen as an important source that nurtures all things, inspiring, healing, and uniting people from different cultural backgrounds and beliefs. The men's fashion show took place on the oldest bridge in Paris. Pharrell Williams continues the legacy of former design legend Virgil Abloh, infusing his own understanding of fashion trends into all products: the collision of American street style and French luxury craftsmanship, new graphic and text designs, the fusion of the classic Damier checkerboard pattern with an 8-bit pixel style to create a new camouflage, all embodying Louis Vuitton's mission to spread and pay tribute to the rich culture created by humanity.

Large-scale Futurism -- The Womenswear Runway Analysis of Louis Vuitton
Staged once again in the majestic surroundings of the Louvre in Paris, Louis Vuitton’s Spring-Summer 2023 Collection is unveiled in the museum’s Cour Carrée. For the first time, Nicolas Ghesquière has invited leading French contemporary artist Philippe Parreno and production designer James Chinlund to conceptualize the event’s spectacular set design. With metal grills, mirrors, and a myriad of lightbulbs that evoke a fairground attraction, the set is centered upon a vividly red “monster flower” with golden stamen that rise up dramatically into the Parisian sky.

A Grand Ball of Time -- The Womenswear Runway Analysis of Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton held a grand ball of time in the Louvre. The artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière continued his unique understanding of architecture and couture. The design of architectural silhouettes brought the gorgeous romanticism of the 19th century to the present. Rococo bustle and gorgeous beaded embroidery were the elements in the retro court. The combination with modern elements as mask-like sunglasses, denim and cargo pants provided us with a time journey.

Amen Break -- The Menswear Runway Analysis of Louis Vuitton
The seventh collection of Virgil Abloh for Louis Vuitton was named after the classic song of The Winstons -- Amen Break. This mysterious, isolated and weird atmosphere creates a dystopia future, especially reflecting the historical track of Black art and culture. Except for the performance of multiple African artists and hip-pop music, the clothing of this collection also presents the unique personality. Oriental belted element, draped dress hem and athleisure baseball sportswear present intensive visual impact. These bright and eye-catching colors bring us a fashion feast.

Classical and Reality -- The Womenswear Catwalk Analysis of Louis Vuitton
Nicolas Ghesquière's Louis Vuitton released its A/W 2021 womenswear collection officially in the Paris Fashion Week. Ghesquière made a runway of the Louvre's Denon wing, his models mingling with ancient Roman, Greek, and Etruscan sculptures to the tunes of Daft Punk's mega-hit "Around the World". The hand-drawn pictures of Italian design atelier Fornasetti become the visual inspiration of A/W 2021 collection, appearing on the suit jacket, wide overcoat, vest and A-line dress. Nicolas Ghesquière's ability to process silhouette and visual effect is fully presented in A/W 2021. The outgoing printed patterns and harmonious sculptural silhouette allow people to feel the emotion of Louis Vuitton A/W 2021."I wanted something impactful, something that conveys hope and joy for what's coming next, and for people to have a good time watching," Ghesquière said."A moment of fashion." After experiencing the long-term restraint brought by the epidemic, fashion should return to its joyous mode and prepare for the revival.

The Balance Between Street and Formal -- The Menswear Catwalk Analysis of Louis Vuitton
The Louis Vuitton A/W 21/22 collection inspires from Stranger in the Village written by James Baldwin in 1953 and brings us charming designs under the theme Art of Travel. Taking the abstract marble as the setting of catwalks, the unique design brings both street and futuristic feeling, and also the hip-hop vibe. The abstract broad silhouette, marble color application, bright check patterns and metallic colors provide inspiration to men's dressing collocation this season. The gender-free pleated dress is more like Virgil Abloh's new attempt to get Louis Vuitton out of the old conventions.

Heaven on Earth -- The Catwalk Analysis of Louis Vuitton Menswear
Virgil Abloh, the artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear, unveils this season's theme of Heaven on Earth, and uses a reverse clock moving through the clouds as an invitation to the A/W 2020 menswear show. The blue sky and white clouds are scattered by traditional tools like bobbin, scissors, pencils, hammers and brushes. The huge sculptures complete the surrealism and also pay homage to the brand's traditional crafts. Although the A/W 2020 menswear of Virgil Abloh is moving away from the street style, more formal cutting and experimental prints also bring new luxury aesthetics that is quite different from previous years.
