Pay Homage to the Classic -- The Womenswear Runway Analysis of LANVIN
Drawing inspiration from the unlikely pairing of Art Deco and Ancient Egypt, Sialelli drew connections in design and architecture: jacquard patterns and opulent beaded embroidery spoke of the former while Jeanne Lanvin’s love of Egypt was realised via a mix of jewellery inspired by ancient art, sphinx prints and sci-fi shapes inspired by Dune that raced the sands of time.

Elegance of History -- The Catwalk Analysis of LANVIN Womenswear
LANVIN A/W 2020 womenswear show is held in Manufacture des Gobelins built in the 15th century in Paris. The show with a theme of Conversation Piece draws inspirations from the 1960s. The space age, elaborate makeup and supermodels from the 1990s work together to make the show a retro party. The creative director Bruno Sialelli connects the contemporary era and the history through a time-travel dialogue with the brand's founder Jeanne Lanvin. In this season, he reinterprets the creative ideas of Jeanne Lanvin and interprets Lanvin in different voices. The new collection takes example by Jeanne Lanvin's signature lines, formal dress style and modern graphic embroidery in the 1920s and 1930s. The graceful lines of the shoulder and structural simple cutting remind of the elegance of haute couture in the middle of the 20th century.

Sweet Dreams During Childhood-- The Catwalk Analysis of Lanvin Womenswear
The Lanvin fashion show is in the charge of Gilles Clément, a French botanist and designer. The gurgling stream, a meandering path and lush bamboo forests are main sights. This show encourages people to stay away from the crowded metropolis to rest here and have some fantasies. The French designer, Bruno Sialelli, changes the seriousness and elegance of the previous Lanvin, seeks inspirations from real life and trips in a more romantic and funnier way, and aims at the young and energetic consumers. Inspirations of this series come from Little Nemo in Slumberland. The goddess, Yukee, and the singer, Jiayi, appear in the Lanvin S/S 2020 to heat the discussion of this brand.
