As the unfailing classic series of La Perla, MAISON is still hand-crafted by artisans at Bologna atelier. Silk from Como, the silk capital of Italy, works with ancient and complicated Frastaglio embroidery. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of MAISON, La Perla launches two limited capsule series, MAISON RAINBOW and MAISON METALLIC. They symbolize hope and rebirth, carry an inspiring and vigorous strength, and debut in 2020. They use wild rose and vivid green as main tones, adopts colorful embroidered gauze, and reinterprets four popular styles of La Perla. MAISON METALLIC also mixes with exquisite embroideries by gold, copper and platinum yarns.

Salon International de la Lingerie -- Paris International Underwear Exhibition
This season the exhibition is held in a brand-new private venue. The exhibition specially opens up the Organic Area, and focuses on the brand using environment-friendly fabrics. The collaborative products of fabric design studio Whole draw much attention, and use 100% vegetable dyestuff, organic fabrics and yarns. Sustainable design is still a hot topic at the show, and most lingerie brands are happy to share their latest developments. Fabrics become the focus, and certified cellulose fabric is prevailing. The emerging brands are displayed in the Exposed Area, including the Nette Rose from Cape Town and Tisja Damen from Amsterdam.
