Vans has collaborated with local artists on the zodiac for eight years. As the 2020 Year of the Rat approaches, Vans chooses to hold a joint series of special exhibitions with the artist Zhao Zhao, and showing the 2020 Year of the Rat Zodiac joint shoes.
The exhibition is inspired by the underground space where the mouse lives, bringing an immersive experience of both visual and sensory impact. The night scene is used as the main atmosphere to present the living environment of the rat. Also it put the mouse-loved cream cake into a huge model, allowing the audience to be immersed.
The VANS & ZHAOZHAO co-branded series has 7 items, including 5 pairs of shoes, 1 hoodie and 1 long-sleeved T-shirt.
