A graduate from Central Saint Martins, Chen was chosen by i-D as one of five designers-to-watch, and launched her eponymous label the following year. As a part of the 2017 International Designer Exchange Program, Mercedes-Benz invited Chen to present her Autumn/Winter 2017 collection at Milan Fashion Week. Previously, she showed at London Fashion Week with Fashion Scout, before basing herself in Shanghai. Her last Spring-Summer 2019 Collection showed at New York Fashion Week.
