For Fall/Winter 2023, we expected for the symbiosis of natural beings and discovered a balanced survival pattern in the adversity. China was predicted to be a dark horse that would incubate the fashion. All the industries have expressed their vision about the future, including digital supply chain, the strategies that transform the shopping demand, the attitude toward lifestyles and IDEA marketing. The cover of Vogue Taiwan presents 100% polluted water and daily trashes to arouse our love for this planet. Environmental pollution is a challenging, controversial but inevitable topic in the fashion industry. In the abandoned and polluted space, the future and the past coexist in the present moment. Depressive darks and fresh pastels, modern and ancient, abstract bionic textures and plant prints, all these conflicts form a brand-new decadent aesthetic and reflect the worries about the uncertain future world.

New Chinoiserie is originated from the Chinese culture, which carries the classic and also makes revolution. The core of Hermit captures the essence of New Chinoiserie and discovers the idea of Daoism through tranquil colors. The tender and clean palette is infused with lively traditional colors to reflect the elegance of understated Chinese-style dressing.

The colors of Natural Spectrum come from Mysticism. Natural lights can be either healing or punchy in different situations and times. Interstellar elements are mainly presented on outdoor performance wear, while natural, ethereal colors develop fairy sophisticated womenswear. Algiers Blue is sourced from the stream water in remote mountains. The ecological experiments of the artist Bianca Bondi call attention to the vulnerability of ecosystems and underline the importance of ecology to human’s longevity. Algiers Blue is chosen as the main tone for minimalist outerwear and casual businesswear. The changes on material and silhouette can rejuvenate the color. Algiers Blue stands out from the depressive winter palette and brings a cooling and smart atmosphere.

The core color in A/W 22/23, Mellow Yellow is sourced from the natural world. Inspired by chalky minerals, cotton-linen, and soft chiffon, the hue of Mellow Yellow accents the textures and exudes an understated yet high-class quality. The colors in the theme Animism are sourced from the nature. The minimalist and gentle spectrum soothes the mentality. They are chasing for F.I.R.E.(Financial Independence & Retire Early) and balanced Ayurveda. They are artistic wanderers, who consume in the art scenes with an identity of VIC. Culture, experience, and value are their favourite targets for investment. Pursuing tactility and durability, joyous sense of humor and sensitiveness break the conventions of art, fashion, and life.

Acorn(PANTONE 18-1314 TPG), the core color in A/W 22/23, is an earthy tone sourced from the nature. The film Dune presented a futuristic desertified planet by the minimalist aesthetic. The hue of Acorn is revealed throughout the film. With the ability to make common fabrics to be luxe, Acorn is used on leather, worsted fabrics, and woolen fabrics to make knitwear, leather vest, and long outerwear.

The theme Multifaceted Player conveys that these unconventional cross-border people desire for a carefree and unlimited lifestyle in this diversified background. They are always switching between different characters and scenes and enjoying the fun of being a multifaceted player. The fashion world is also trying to be break the restraint of design to meet consumers’ need of multidimensional symbiosis.

Retro Time conveys the spiritual expression of Gen Z consumers' nostalgic emotions and awakens the memory of the golden age via scene replays. Discovering the oasis that we desire for, an escapist journey is started the high summer. With the use of joyous tones, new elements are joined by the old to present a retro vacation style. Retro Time hopes to create a relaxing and carefree mini-vacation atmosphere for the busy teenagers in city. A self-healing summer rhapsody reminds us of the passion and romance in summer, and reinterprets the highlights of that classic, golden age.

Revived economy and security bring rhythmic and positive natural colors back. Balanced dynamic, peaceful color atmosphere and high saturation express the pure hopeful light in our real life. A sensitive emotion is also exuded in this modern artistic vibe. The colors of A/W 22/23 Winter Dawn focus on the natural tonality. The higher saturation motivates the spirit and conveys the pursuit of wonderful life.

This theme is inspired by works of seven illustrators such as Malika Favre, Mads Bergs and Jens Magnusson. They take cues from the Canary Islands and this global COVID-19 and indicate people's hope to release themselves via travel paintings. Therefore, this palette features contrast colors, depicts travels via colors according to different seasons, and analyzes the newest colorway of artistic colors.

A/W 21/22 Theme Forecast

Natural disasters and economic turbulence have caused a restless feeling, and induces rebellious and illogical artistic expression. The mysterious, rebellious and bizarre surrealism clearly emphasizes that the reality controlled by reason and logic is not real, and that only the combination of dream and reality is absolutely real and absolutely objective. In A/W 21/22, luxurious colors fight against the uncertain times. The Night Fantasy escapes from the reality with illogical light and shadow, and surpasses the ordinary natural colors. Microworld explores dreams of plants and find the rebellious thoughts of them. The macro natural landscape accumulates in billions of years of destruction and rebirth, and has the most primitive instinct of life. In A/W 21/22, natural colors will be more tensile.
